HE + SHE

We are a husband + wife team who both have a passion for homes. We met in the fall of 2000 in college, started dating a couple of years later, and got married in 2006. We have 2 little girls, and 2 furry schnauzer babies. We love the beach and the mountains and always dream of traveling to fun new places.

We believe in having a company where you get to know us on a personal level. We aren’t just your average homebuilder. You aren’t a number or another closing to us. We want to show you that relationships matter. That we always want to do right by our clients, and that we will always build with integrity. We believe in designer Anthony Burrill’s line: “Work hard & be nice to people.”

HE:
As a kid, Zach used to continuously re-fold and rearrange his clothes if they weren’t tidy enough. He is always looking for a better way to organize what he has. He loves old cars (Jeeps, Toyota Land Cruisers, Land Rovers, etc) and really wants to have a Vespa with a side car some day. He loves talking to people and hearing their stories and has always prided himself on taking good care of his homeowners.

Zach has over 13 years of building experience, from basic remodeling, production homebuilding, custom and semi-custom homes, build on your lot, and even a few commercial projects under his belt. He has worked in the field in construction management and in the office in many capacities. He has a passion for homes: making things look architecturally correct and balanced. He has great attention to detail and an easy-going personality that is always fun to be around.

SHE:
As a little girl, Kate used to diagram her bedroom and try to figure out the best arrangement for her furniture and space. She is charmed by historic architecture and their use of space and materials. Her favorite things are traveling, reading with her girls, enjoying a good cup of coffee with a friend, and breathing in the ocean air.

Kate has worked in many different capacities, from Recruiter, Sales, Graphic Designer, and Photographer, to Elementary Reading Teacher and Dyslexia Specialist. She has enjoyed picking out selections for another homebuilder and seeing her vision come to life. There are so many decisions to be made in the process of building and remodeling, and she enjoys breaking it down into something that is more enjoyable and less overwhelming.
